P.R News and Events
The P.R desk at Spear Motors is spear heading the company's C.S.R strategy. The P.R desk creates a platform that links the company and its internal and external publics. We are a company that believes greatly in giving back to the community that has supported us and stood by us for over 36 years now. SOME Corporate Social Activities carried out this year 2010 include;
1. Donated Blood in August.
Spear Motors championed this drive together with fellow sister companies WBS TV,GM Tumpeco and Wavah Water.
Together we helped donate a reasonable amount of blood that will be used to save lives of pregnant mothers,Accident victims,Anaemic people ,HIV/AIDS patients etc.
We heed to a call by Nakasero blood bank and the Red cross and it's satisfying to know that it was worth it.
2.Donated 20 beds to Katalemwa Cheshire Home.
It is ahome for the disabled children.
It is a rehabilitation center that offers subsidized medical assistance to children whose parents wouldn't be able to afford getting medical services from a regular medical centre.
The beds will improve the boarding system of the home making life more comfortable for the inhabitants.
3.Donated footballs to schools and charity organisations.
Spear Motors donated footballs in schools like Nnabagereka primary school ,faith primary school and Lubiri ss to mention but a few in abid to promte co-curricular activities in the schools in an effort to develop talent.
We have also visited Luzira prisons over christmas,comuned with the prisoners and encouraged them to press on and better their lives.

BLOOD DONATION DRIVE 2011.
Spear Motors Ltd believes so much in giving back to the community that it serves.
As an annual tradition,we are organising a Blood donation drive in conjuction with Blood Bank Nakasero..on 2nd September..
We shall be donating blood to save the vulnerable like sickelrs ,pregnant mothers,Accident vicxtims and so on.
